Holding Tank Registration: For reduced rate, an owner of a holidng tank within the City boundaries shall register their holding tank with the Water and Wastewater Division of Public Works by December 3, 2018. (No rate reduction after December 31, 2018)

Registration: An owner of a holding tank(s) and/or septic tank(s) located outside City boundaries shall register their holding tank(s) or septic tank(s) with the City's Water and Wastewater Division of Public Works prior to the hauler pumping said tank and depositing septage waste at the Sewage Works.

Disclaimer: Failure to register holding tanks within the City of Kawartha Lakes will result in the waste being deemed as standard septage and therefore will be charged the higher rate as per the current by-law. A one time only registration fee of $50.00 will be charged regardless of location. Haulers located outside of City boundaries are subject to an administration fee of $7.00 per tonne.
