Million Dollar Makeover Application Form

Information for applicant - please read before completing application

Prior to applying, applicants must read and understand the complete eligibility criteria and conditions, under Eligibility on the Million Dollar Makeover webpage.

This application intake is for projects to be completed between January 1 and December 31, 2026.

Successful applicants will need to sign a Funding Agreement Form. After signing this form, the project work may begin. Million Dollar Makeover applications will not be considered for retroactive work, or charges.

Additional funding program conditions for grants and loans:

Grants:

• Grants may be combined, but a property may not exceed a maximum total of $10,000 in combined grants for the duration of the Million Dollar Makeover, unless approved by Council. Multiple grants cannot be applied to the same project cost;
• A property is only eligible to receive the Trent-Severn Facade Improvement Grant one (1) time throughout the duration of the Million Dollar Makeover;
• The applicant may be the registered property owner or tenant, or a person to whom such an owner or tenant has assigned the right to receive a grant;
• In accordance with an Agreement, payments will only be made after a project is completed to the satisfaction of the City;

Loans:

• The applicant must be the registered property owner to receive a loan.
