Curbside large item tags

Cost: $10

Large item collection must be pre-arranged with Miller Waste. Please call 705-359-1402 or 1-888-557-4711 before placing large items at the curb.

Large Item Tags can be used for items such as refrigerator, oven, stove, washer, dryer, dishwasher, freezer, air conditioning unit, microwave oven, barbeque, patio furniture, furnace, TV, monitor, vacuum cleaner, hot water heater, humidifier, toilet, sink, furniture.

Please note that the item your purchasing the tag for must weigh no more than 100kgs or 220lbs

Freon appliance tags

Cost: $20

Freon appliance collection must be pre-arranged with Miller Waste. Please call 705-359-1402  or 1-888-557-4711 before placing appliances at the curb.

Freon tags are to be used for appliances containing Freon gas such as refrigerators, freezers, air conditioners and dehumidifiers, unless the unit has already been tagged by a licensed technician certifying the gas has been recovered. Freon-containing items require two tags for curbside collection (1 large item tag and 1 freon tag).

Curbside mattress tags

Cost: $15 for each unit

Mattress collection must be pre-arranged with Miller Waste. Please call 705-359-1402 or 1-888-557-4711 before placing mattresses or box springs at the curb. If placing a mattress and boxspring at the curb you must purchase two mattress tags; one for the mattress and another one for the boxspring.

Mattress Tags can be used for all mattresses and box springs. All of the mattress and boxsprings collected curbside will be recycled and diverted from landfill.

 Pre-paid virtual tags are available for mattresses, large items, and freon items.

How to use virtual tags

• After purchasing the virtual tag you will be given an order number

• Contact Miller Waste at 1-888-557-4711 to schedule a pick up for your item

• Ensure you have your order number to provide Miller Waste as proof or purchase of the virtual tag
