Apply for a Burn Permit Online

Please provide the following information to apply for a burn permit.  Once the application is completed, it will be reviewed and you will be contacted by Fire Department staff.

All open-air fires including campfires, chimineas, burn barrels and regular burn permits must be a minimum of 15 metres from any building or other structures and 5 metres from any fences, trees brush piles or combustible materials and property lines. Clean dry wood is the only material to be burned. Burn barrels and Regular Permits are not permitted in a built up area as defined by By-law 2016-110. A burn permit is not required for campfires less than 60 centimeres in diameter.

Agricltural burns must be a minimum of 50 metres away from buildings and 25 metres away from trees, fences, brush piles or other combustible materials.
